I know you made your decision, and maybe this will help keep you toward the 3.5

This is my 2.5 that I mentioned a couple posts above. My tires are supposed to be 35, but are more like 34s at best. So a true 35 would have even less gap. I would strongly suggest going straight to 3.5

Found your thread CottonFire as you know I'm considering the same lift heights... Here are a couple pics of my JKU as it stands right now (2.5" coil spacer with 285/75r16's) and wanting to run 35x12.50 or metric equivalent. As you all can see I have cut my fenders so already have the flat fenders, as with all of what I do I want a functional aesthetic setup for dd and plenty of off-road duty (works great and looks great)! Would appreciate some more input and pics of either lift with "flatties"... Thanks

That will save me from calling the place I ordered from. Ordered 2 weeks ago, was going to check up today.

Here are shots of the new Shrockworks front stubby stinger winch bumper installed (I asked them to extend the hoop into a full stinger and put gussets on it - came out really nice).

Long wait, but worth it, in my opinion.

You know that's what I do best... Nah, just trying to help you (and myself) make a well educated decision. Hope your trip is going well today!

If you are planning 37's down the road then you definitely want the 3.5"

Default 3.5

I know I went with the 3.5'' and don't regret it. I dont have any pics but it with 35'' trail grapplers which actually measured about 34.5 gave me 4.5'' in the rear and 7.5'' in the front. To my surprise i do rub when the wheel is turned all the way in either direction. So to run 37's you would need flat flares. But with the 3.5 the 37's will look awesome. Also the pictures above with the 2.5 and 35'' mud grapplers looks more like the 3.5 to me or is the 2.5 with spacers because thats a big flare and tire gap for a 2.5 lift with 35's and a steel bumper with stinger, just sayin.
