Was convinced I wanted the 3.5...but I am worried I'll be higher than I was hoping. I'd like to order it very soon, if any if you could post some pics that would be great!
Also, any experience with either lift would be super.
I'm planning on the 2.5 max or 3.5 flex...same kits just different springs.

I would definately go for the 3.5 inch, you will be glad you did when its all said and done, it will not be too tall. You have an unlimited so nothing drivetrain wise will need to be modified, you will however chew the boot up on your front driveshaft if you have an auto transmission, but it will take some time for the driveshaft to fail. I have the rockcrawler 3.5 inch midflex kit, it has been awsome from daily driving to wheeling, I am at work right now so cant get to my pics to send one, if u look in my profile you will see what mine looks like with this kit, I think there is even a pic flexing in Moab on Cliffhanger trail. all in all a very solid kit, I have over 15,000 miles on mine, and have no probs at all. Getting ready to drive it to Moab again this year :-)

It depends on what size wheels you want/have. If you're going with 33's, I'd stick with the 2.5". 3.5" on 33's is too much lift.

If you're going with 35's, either one really. 2.5" would be enough, 3.5" would be good too. Just depends on how high you want to go. Lower center of gravity is safer.

I have 33's, just ordered the RK 2.5 Max travel, front drive shaft, Bilstein shocks. Pretty sure on the 2 door you will need both front and rear drive shafts unless you have the manual transmission.

definitely depends on tire size. I am running the 3.5" and 39's. The only thing I did was trim my fender flares. Stock fender flares and 35's looked fine and had no rubbing. If you want 37's, which in my humble opinion, the 4 dr needs then go for the 3.5

I plan on running 35s...and eventually 37s on 17" wheels. I love the LCG look with flat fenders...but also appreciate a 4 door with a nice stance. Thanks for all your input. If anyone has pics id like to see them!

This makes me say 3.5" is the way to go. You can stick with the stock fenders with the 35's, and not look too tall. When you go to 37's, you can swap out to a set of flat fenders and it will look perfect.

My suggestion is go 3.5, or be ready to buy a spacer kit along with your 2.5. I am running 35 inch tires on a 2.5 and that lasted about one trail before I was tired of hitting my bump stops and rubbing a bit under flex. So now I'm in the market for a nice 3.5 kit with adjustable shocks.

BUT, my jeep does have a LCG look to it as of right now. So if you're going for looks, then maybe you would be happy with a 2.5

I am no so much going for the LCG "look" and much as the functionality. And from the sounds of it...3.5 and 37s will be the ticket. Thanks again everyone.
