Default RK rear track bar

I got the RK track bar on but it's not clearing the differential. Looking at their website, it's the one pictured (2 bends). Looking at various pics, I've seen some with what appears to be the front bar (1 bend) installed on the rear.

Does anyone have the RK rear track bar installed without the RK bracket? I have a riddler diff cover but even stock it would be VERY close.

Nevermind. Just need to call them. The one I have has a little note at the bottom stating the bracket is required. You'd think they'd sell together to all and buyer can omit bracket as needed.

Plus, elsewhere is the bar and bracket combo but it pictured with the front bar (but labeled rear). Guess the stock one is going back on.

Yes, and once you use the bracket you have issues it rubbing the coils. Lots of threads on the rock krawler track bar and interference with coils and bowed coils with their kits.

Many of their kits come with the bracket and you reuse the existing track bar. For those customers, the track bar can be bought separately. They also sell the track bar with the bracket. But I don't think they sell the bracket by itself.

You can pretty much buy any RK piece by itself from them if you give them a call. Their rear track bar doesnt usually come with the bracket unless otherwise specified because the bracket comes with the suspension systems.
I have a Riddler rear dif cover and the RK bracket and i have had zero issues for several years.

The double adjuster should give your clearance no?
I don't have their bracket but TF's and there's no clearance issues. I am running coils wedges.

^^ how new is your track bar? Mine has a bushing on the frame side. I installed adjustable coil perches, and had the frame side mount moved back a little (thx Dirtman). If it was double adjustable the factory mount would have been fine.

That pic is when it was new. It's been installed for close to a year. I done like the way the RK track bar frame side bushing is at a constant bind. It's only going to get worse when I adjust for pinion angle. I loosened up both sides to rotate the bar back but the bushing is still tight and won't except grease. I will have to double shear or install a new track bar.

Ah. I got a better look at the pic today... I didn't think your frame side had a bushing so I was confused. Mine is mounted on the back side of the frame mount, and Dirtman welded a tab for me. Basically moving the tb mount back a few inches, and it no longer rubs the coils.

I have this exact bracket on the axle side (Teraflex). I installed my RK rear track bar last night, and had no issues with spring clearance. It was a bit of a bear to get the jam nuts tightened. I found the easiest thing to do was to remove the passenger's side shock, then brace myself against the passenger tire to pull my wrench as hard as possible. The only thing was that when I did this, the bar rotated a few degrees. I had initially wanted it to be rotated back towards the back of the Jeep slightly. I couldn't loosen the jam nut (red loctite sets fast).

I unbolted the driver's side, and used a pipe wrench to give me some leverage to torque it down, but the bushing on the passenger's side held pretty well.

Question for anyone running this setup - can I get away with the bend in the bar being close to vertical? I've got about 3" of lift, and a Solid diff cover. I didn't get a chance to flex it today to check. I'm kind of nervous to do so...
