Default RK lower front control arm set screw?

What is the little set screw on the bottom of the Heim head at the axle mount for? Greasing?

Arms came without directions so not sure of its function.
Also, do the eye to eye measurements for both arms have to be super precise like down to a 1/16 th inch?

Do you have any pics? My trailmaster control arms have a small set screw/plug in the flex joints and if it is the same thing then it is for maintainance. I was told to occassionally open them and put a bit of 3 in 1 oil in there. That was all they need maintainance wise

They are offset screws that add preload to the spanner and is not intended to be used as a joint service hole meaning you don't need to do anything to them. The measurement from center bolt hole to center of bolt hole is 23 1/8" for a 2.5" - 3.5" lift. Be sure to torque your jam nuts to 200 ft-lbs of torque. Also add red loc-tite when tightening then down.

PM me if you have questions.

Gotcha... Kind of a bitch to line up the holes on the misalignment spacers. Hard to tell if they're exactly straight

Wait until you try to torque the jam nuts down. It's a bit*h. I recommend you bolt the control arm to the frame and then torque the jam nut with an adjustable wrench or a torque wrench with a crow foot wrench. Make sure you keep a jack under your diff to keep the axle from moving to far (leave your tires on). Remove one at a time... don't remove them both or you could have an issue...

Yeah they were a pita for sure. I wish they put the joint a little higher so you could get a wrench on there with the whole arm connected.
