Default Color Match

You have me going with this RR snorkel. I still would like to see what volant looks like but RR is better everytime I see it. I like your setup better than that flexible hose. It looks it's best when you have it colored match. That jeep looks good.

The River raider snorkel is welded aluminum, so it is smooth. When painted to match, you almost walk by the jeep without noticing it is there. That is why I'm such a huge RR fan. I don't like the black plastic snorkels. I have also heard of a few people returning the AEV snorkel because it doesn't follow the body lines of the jeep and sticks out too much.

Thanks!!! After having the RR snorkel, I wouldn't buy any other. It looks like it came on the jeep.

[QUOTE=07WrangX;543610]I was concerned about the flexible hose that came with my snorkel, because I figured that it was really restricting the air flow. I called Kenny at River Raider and he sent me out some aluminum tubing and Rubber elbows. Here are some pictures of what I did.

slick. and the water pick is awesome!

Please dont take this the wrong way but I try and keep close tabs on problems with products we sell so I called AEV and they have not had one returned snorkel at all.

Not sure where you heard that but i am not sure it is true.

looks awesome! i am thinking about doing this to mine too. I have noticed increased power and way better gas mileage (24 mpg today on a 200 mile trip) with the RR snorkel....but wonder if this will add to it.
