I just ordered one of these kits. All is good except I was sent fine threaded nylock nuts for a course threaded bolt. When I brought this up to the seller, he stated I am mistaken and must not know the difference between fine and course threads. I explained I was an aircraft mech and FAA designated inspector and knew the difference..... Have not even had the courtesy of a response after that.
Anyone else get the wrong jamb nut? I dislike a vendor that assumes the buyer is an idiot.
I corrected this myself by just driving a course threaded tap into the nut and re staked the nylock so it would still lock. I figured it was OK since it was only a jamb nut......
