Have an 07 w/ auto and 35's running 4.10's. Around town, it's fine and I'm averaging 14 mpg no matter what I do.

However, I did shatter the input shaft to the transmission last month and think it might have to do with the higher trans temperatures I've been seeing and the extra power.

How did ya'll like the change from 4.10's to 5.13's?? Is it worth the money for daily drivability? Also, do you think this might help with keeping the transmission cooler?

Thanks for any help!

Regearing to me is a must to reap the benefits. The RIPP needs power to produce power. I went to 4.88 on my '11 manual on 35's and even before the RIPP is was a night and day difference from the 3.73. After the RIPP it just made it even more awesome. Getting about 17mpg on the highway in the mountains and around 14-15 in the city. Use only 91 or 93 if it is available. As for the tranny problems, I haven't had any issues with the tranny overheating even pulling up hills. Could look into a separate tranny cooler, just have to find a different spot to mount instead of the grill due to the intercooler.
