RIPP Supercharger Question
I'm considering installing a RIPP 2nd Generation Supercharger kit on my '08 Rubicon this winter, but I had a few concerns.
I currently have installed an AEV Snorkel and the Benchmark Designs Dual Battery setup. I'm not willing to do away with either of these modifications because A: I've already cut the hole in the hood for the snorkel & B: I'm into the battery setup for about $1k with the Optimas.
The 2nd Generation setup appears to be compatible with the battery setup (as opposed to the 1st generation that had all that tubing back there). My main concern is plumbing the system into the factory air box to retain the functionality of my snorkel setup. In the pictures on the RIPP website, it appears that they are using an open element air filter that is in approximately the same position as the factory air box.
Does RIPP offer some sort of adapter or something that will allow me seal the supercharger intake directly to the factory air box? Any info is appreciated.
