I do enjoy mine. I think I said it earlier. I can hear and feel my jeep. My wife has a 2012 JKU and I can't even tell it is running. With these headers I can definitely hear it and swear I can feel a slight rumble too. You will enjoy them once they are in.

Ripp has the long arm headers to so no cutting is required. im wondering if maybe they will do some down pipe mod so that the 12 doesnt have to have the big loop for a rock to grab on and relocate the y behind the transfer case like their long arm headers

Ordered the headers with diablo and hush power, did not want to much noise since it is a daily driver, removed and sold my old gibson twin outlet system due to the drone being unbearable, i hope I can keep up with traffic now.

With two guys one being a mechanic how long should the install take?

RIPP can correct me if I'm wrong but I asked detailed questions when I bought my headers.

I have a Tereflex long arm lift. The long arm headers they sell are for offroad use. Of course you can buy and install them but they DO NOT have cats. So if your good with that there is no issue. I wanted catalytic converters on mine. I live in a state that does not currently test omissions but I did not want to take a chance.

Additionally, you will have to cut your crosstube to clear the right side lower control arm bracket. I had to and I know several others that have too. That is on the non-long arm set where you hav a long arm lift.

I chose to get the set with cats and cut the crosstube. You can buy the set without cats and won't have to cut.

Just wanted to throw that out there. The long arm set does not have cats.

I don't know what kind of lift you have. Do you have a long arm? Did I miss that? If you do not have a long arm lift it should go faily easy. Lets say 4-6 hours for complete exhaust. The right side is easier than the left side.

- Take your inner fender liners out. That will help.
- Save your heat shields. The left side will go on easy but the right side will need to be trimmed
- You can re-use the stock exhaust maifold gaskets. RIPP suggested that. I did and a year with no leaks
- After you have ran your JK recheck all your bolts a few times. They will probably get loose. Mine did.
