Default Rifle storage

I'm looking for long gun storage/racks that's out of the way but also fairly easy to get at. Has anybody done anything like that?

In the jeep? I have a backseat gun rack. It hangs from the headrest and attaches to the seat bracket at the bottom. You can pick them up around $20. It's also easy to remove when it's not in use.

There is also a company out there that makes high end AR15 mounts that attach to the seat brackets. They were not cheap though but were very high quality. Can't remember the name but I'm sure Mr. google could find it for you.

He's talking about gunner fab. They make some awesome stuff but it is a bit pricey. The handgun mount that bolts to the passenger seat bracket is the tits.

I would pay it if they were locking.

Look up Pro Gard (spelled G A R D). They sell locking mounts for cruisers. You may have to get creative, but they are made to mount anywhere. Just need to get 12v power wherever it ends up. I will be doing this install within the next few months.

This is what I did for now. I have a 2 dr. and no back seat with tool box and with the hard top on and when the seats are in the normal driving position you can not see anything. I am going to add two padlock hinges to the tool box, so I can lock some of my shorter rifles/pistol in there when I have the soft top on.
