Ride with sway bar attached sucks.
Why is it when my front sway bar is attached my jeep rides like a 50 year old hooker. Disconnect it and it rides smooth. Of course I have more sway and body roll, but the overall ride is amazingly better Disconnected. Why is that???

Lol, no one likes a jeep that rides like an old hooker . Disconnected is allowing your axle to 'float' independently, less restricted movement. Really letting your suspension work for you.

I agree with you. I usually end up leaving my disconnected for a while after hitting the trails, because I know I will end up having to disconnect it again soon, or just too lazy to connect them again.

I ran with mine disconnected when I forgot to reconnect it last month on the Utah Obscura run. It sucked on a windy, paved highway. I had to slow down because it was downright dangerous at highway speeds. I don't care if it's a more comfortable ride, I really do not recommend--a Jeep is far less controllable in an emergency maneuver.

3" teraflex coils. Just installed Rockkrawler lowers , and ride improved a little bit as well as vibration felt through the suspension(uppers arrive Tuesday) rough country adjustable uppers(trust me I cringe when I have to say those two words). Fox 2.0 ifp.
Hopefully the rockkrawler uppers tighten it all up and smooth it out.

oh and Evo draglink flip. My ride has always been "harsh" since I've gotten my jeep. Slowly rebuilding the suspension and it's gotten a lot better, but with it disconnected is so extremely comfortable. When connected it's almost jarring.
I agree it's safer connected

You could always install currie anti-rock sway bars; still gives that "floating" feeling, but not as much body roll as being disconnected (still noticeably more roll than stock though).

I just find it hilarious that a jeep with a 2.5" zone lift with 35s and 20s rides better than mine. Could it be that he is still running stock control arms?
