Reservoirs or ??

Reservoirs or ??
I can’t seem to find where it’s posted, and I thought I already asked. anyway, will fox 2.0 IFP remote reservoir shocks make a noticeable difference in ride quality on the road with mopar springs (or better) from their 2” lift kit. Vs the Fox 2.0 shocks that come with the kit?
I will have 35” nitro mud grapplers.
I am trying to decide if I should purchase springs to get me right to 3” (which is what everyone is saying will happen with the 2” mopar kit)
2007 Jk 4door Sahara
i have replaced the track bar with a rubicon express adjustable forged and tie rod.
On a side note, I found a guy with a set of synergy fixed length front lower control arms for $150. Not sure how much, if any noticeable difference they would make with the lift. I don’t have the money right now.

I doubt there will be any difference in ride. I would assume they use the same valving on both. You will get a bit more travel vs compressed length from most shocks that have a reservoir since they don't have to have a longer body to accommodate the internal floating piston.
At 3" of lift you will notice the difference in steering by using the front shorter lower control arms.

Resi's would be a total waste of money for your use IMO. Money better spent on a different upgrade as you
One thing about the fixed arms.....for $150 you get pretty nice control arm brackets that offer a few different mounting positions to set caster. If you're not scraping over large rocks all the time, the might be a better idea than fixed length arms that will give you higher caster, but are what they are with no adjustment. Just something to consider. No real right or wrong between the two.
I think you meant longer lower arms.

Not sure he has the brackets. WISH I had the money for the 44 too. Think it would be worth offering $100 for the arms?

Do you know what your current caster is?
Honestly, having having to pony up for an engine....I'd just enjoy it for a bit as is. Your caster at 2" can't be that low. Usually better to really think about your build plans, if there are any, and think things through. There's really nothing super duper special about fixed length arms to get real excited about IMO.

Everyone wants to go higher. Meh, maybe it's easy to say cuz I'm at 3.5", but higher isn't better. It's just more of a headache all around, but maybe part of it is cuz nothing is as easy as it should be on my specific jeep....or rather I make things as hard as they possibly can be. I tend to think that 2-2.5" with 35s is the perfect mix of looks, capability, and budget. I kind of forget the early days though and feeling that pressing need to progress the build along which can be frustrating when the wallet forces you to tap the brakes on spending.

Yeah. I agree. I’m hoping the mopar springs will bring it up to 3-3.5 and not sag. I won’t get the resis then.
sounds like a waste of money. Use it toward the arms and maybe draglink
