Not trying to talk you out of anything but my .02 is, if two companies were trying to talk me out of something I would go in a different direction.
Money is an initial issue (Ive spent over 24k this year on mods for the Viper, Corvette and Down Payments on 3 new cars) Rebel was suggesting the Teraflex short arm kit for twice the price, but in all honesty I really will probably never use the vehicle enough to warrant it. I know a lot of the hardcore guys here think the AEV kit is an over priced joke. But every single post here from the guys who ACTUALLY OWN the kit love it. I am more concerned about on road handeling/ride that I am about articulation over huge rocks (I am the first to admit I am a mall queen poser). If I ever do get into serious offroading, I will switch over to the Tera long arm like I bought before (Sold my 2011 Rubi beofre install and then sold kit).

I will be running 38x15.5 Nitto Mud grapplers, the AEV 4.5" SC, and 1" Tera Coil spacers for now.

Sounds like you know what you want! Cool man. I have heard nothing but good things about their installs. I would say go for it!

Cool, as long as there's no negative press I'm good.

LOL!!!

I will translate for you;

"dont go with that kit!" = You didn't buy that kit from me i want to make money on both ends of the deal!

"those bolts come loose" = Come on sucker take the bait, take the bait!

Seriously a lift kit is not rocket science. with a lift they should knock it out in 3 hours tops! Obviously AEV is good stuff. Mopar dances with them and a lot of people run their stuff.
Bolts are bolts, the factory suspension uses bolts... ??? Tell him to use a little lock tite!

Good business practices in my book; dont involve talking trash on compitition and dont try to swindle more money out of their customers.

As the saying goes, a bird in the hand is better than 2 in the bush. If I were you and felt like i was getting jerked, i'd walk. This is a buyers economy and no business should be trying to run the deal!

My 3cents!

not to knock the AEV kit, but just looking at the AEV 4.5 (2200 with shocks) vs the teraflex 4" (2500 with shocks), the teraflex is a better deal, getting you actual control arms and track bars to improve the road handling. I would bet the teraflex will ride alot nicer due to being able to dial it in better, and will be far more adjustable

I don't buy things from David at Northridge in hopes of getting a better price, but rather because when I need help he is there for me.

I can buy this kind of stuff a lot of places. Maybe even save a couple nickels. I'm likely going to own this gear for several years, and what ends up really mattering is how the dealer takes care of me after they have my money.

Too many people in todays society know the cost of everything and the value of nothing.

The 4.5" SC is $1750 not $2250. David at Northridge told me not to get the Other Bilsteins, I didnt need them. Plus the Teraflex 4" with Flex arms is $2280. Throw in the Forged rear track bar and the flip Kit (A must for good on road) and your at $2900, plus another $400 in labor, so the Tera would be $1600 more with Labor.
