Hi everyone,

I need to fit two dog kennels in the back of my 4-door, and that cross-member connecting the roll bars in the rear is limiting the available height. I'll be building a platform for the kennels, and would like to maximize the space under that platform, which means moving the kennels as high as possible. If I could modify that cross-member somehow, I could maybe gain a few inches...

Does anyone know of a company offering a roll bar upgrade that replaces the cross-member?

unlike all the previous wranglers and even CJ's, the JK roll bar setup is welded in and part of the body. if you do any modification to it, it will have to be all custom work.
