Default Relocating the Steering Stabilizer Using the EVO Draglink Flip Kit

I have the EVO draglink flip kit installed and know you can relocate the SS using the hole in the flipkit bracket. Is there any other components I need to get before I do this? Can I use the stock mount on the tie rod by just rotating it up? If anyone that has done this has any information it would be much appreciated. Pics are definitely helpful. Also any recommendations for a replacement SS would be great. After looking into relocating it yesterday I went out and promptly smashed my stock one. Isn't it weird how it always works that way.....haha. Thanks for the help.

Just loosen the bolts on tie rod and flip it up. Since you busted you stock on-which is said to be the best- id go with Bilstein. There are some company's that make a new mount for the tie rod if you do a search...

Do you mean the bolts on the tie rod? I was leaning towards the Bilstein (I have 5100 shocks) but I've read several posts where the people are experiencing a pull to the left due to that SS. Any insight on into this?

yes there's two bolts holding the SS bracket to the tie rod. Just loosen them enough to twist the bracket up a bit. then tighten the bolts back down. look on project jk for the torque specs. I have the 5160s and the SS. Mine does not pull either direction. but that can play on a lot of different things than the SS. I do now that the FOX SS will cause a "push" cause it has soo much pressure in it. But tire size, weight, rims, your alignment, toe in, toe out all come into play with pulling left or right. Hell ive run my rig without a SS for almost a year before just cause id rather spend the money else where lol. id take a few pic's of mine but im stilling in Afghanistan right now

OK thats what I though you meant. You said track bar in the previous post so I was confused. Happens easy to me..haha. Thanks for the info. I was looking at the Bilstein because I don't really feel that spending almost $300 on a SS is worth it. I was planning on running the stock one until I damaged it, just wasn't expecting it to be so soon..haha. Stay safe over there.
