Default Relocated factory mirrors, what works well?

Does anyone have a decent part or parts combo that relocates the side mirrors where they both remain visible?

I assume you mean with the doors off?

I looked before too & couldn't find anything I liked - these JK mirrors were meant to mount to the doors with a big ole' mounting bracket.

I skipped the mirror relocation trick & just used different mirrors - from a motorcycle. Harley mirrors I believe. Slip right into the door hinges. Found the link on Google.

A lot of people are running Harley Davidson long stem mirrors in the door hinges when the doors are off. I haven't tried it myself, so I don't know how well you can see the passenger side one. I want to get a set of the Dietech ones. They keep your mirrors in the same location they would be if you had the doors on, but they require moving your stock mirrors over to the brackets, and then moving them back when you put the doors back on. I would like to find a set of stock mirrors somewhere on the cheap, and just keep them on the brackets.

Wayoflife how well does the mirror stay put while ur driving. I have the same exact mirror. It works great while around town but if I get on the highway it ends up swinging in. I have tightened it down quite a bit but still I'm afraid to over tighten it.

Thanks for the mention Gary. As Gary said, no vibration and the mirrors sit at the factory location (within about an inch).
