Default Regearing Question

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. I own an automatic 2010 Unlimited 4 door Rubicon. I am finally able to put some money into my jeep. I am having a 4" suspension lift with bilstien 5100's on 17" wheels with 35" Nitto Trail Grapplers installed. At the same time I am also having a set of front and rear JCR bumpers with a winch installed, as well as, poly performance rock rail kit, and bushwacker flat style fender flares. I put the whole build in so you would know what kind of weight I am adding to the Jeep. While all that is going on I am also having the Jeep regeared from the stock Dana 44's. I eventually plan to move from the 35" tires to 37" tires. I can't afford to do that right away is why I am not doing it immediately. I basically would like to know whether to go with 5.13 gears versus 5.38. What the difference between and or the advantage to one or the other and which one you would recommend. I am being advised by the shop that I should go with a 5.38 gear if I plan to move to 37" tires. What if that doesn't happen for awhile and I drive around with the 35's for a couple of two or three years.

Nothing is going to happen. Your Jeep will love 5.38's even with 35's. It's not like you're going to have mad power anyway, even with 5.38.

This!
I'm running a '09 JKUR with 5.38's and 37's and still wish the 3.8 had more power.
