Default Regearing ??????

Have just regeared my 08 X to 4.88 gears with 35" tires. When i drove it stock I was in 4th gear from 40 to 60, 5th from 60 o 75, and 6th from there on out. But now I reach 5th gear at 50 mph. Does this seem right? I am still getting use to driving stick because this is my first manual car. I am shifting each gear around 3100 rpm is that even right? It seemed to be right when it was stock. Any help would be great

did you re-program with a Procal/Superchips for the new gears/tires? That helped me out tremendously after new gears and tires

that's about right- since you changed to 4.88's you will hit your shift points faster because you're hitting higher rpms quicker than when stock and loose some top speed but will gain more in the lower gears = great for off-road at the expense of freeway top speed

I shift between 2000-2200, But I'm a broke 21year old college student that drives like a grandpa. Helps to save on the $$$ given away at the pump. I'll edit later today with my MPH of shifting.
