Default Regear rear axle only?

Guys I was wondering if I could just regear the rear axle right now, the 35s on 3.73s are pretty sluggish since I have the 3.8 but would I run into any problems as long as I dont use 4wd, till the front got regeared?

Yes. Just be absolutely certain you don't run 4wd

Technically you could. I would advise against it. People forget. If you do i reccomend removing your front driveshaft to make sure you or anyone else that may have access to it cannot engage 4wd

Definitely do this. It's not that hard and provides some insurance against the damage that would be done by putting it in 4wd.
