So what would be a reasonable dollar amount to get for my stock Dana 30 with 3.73 gears? I haven't seen a lot for sale on the for sale section of the forum, but this could be a significant part of the decision to do a straight swap or stick with the d30. If its possible to get $1500-$2000 for the axle then that might sway me to the ProRock. If we're talking about 500 bucks or something then I'll probably just regear the d30 and wheel it til it snaps.

I run a stock d30 3.73,and I added a lock right.I have the c gussets, and rugged ridge diff cover and run 34s. I plan on just keeping the 30 going till a cheaper alt comes along. Ill plan my regear then, but so far knock on wood(my head)I`ts done everything I`ve asked out of it.Next for me is a detroit locker for the rear.

Keep watching the for sale section, and craigslist/ebay. When you find a good deal, be prepared to put money down on the spot, as it won't last long...
