Because of the texture and material no matter how much you try you will not get an exact match.

Not so much to match the body color (my JK is black) but to clean up heavy scuffs and scratches.

Does it stay flexible enough not to crack?

monstaliner and raptor line I believe both have an additive to make it flexible. I was going to raptor line them also.

Hahahah. Took it to a paint shop.. They painted it with added flex agent. They put a good few coats of sealant. I wheel it frequently, and only have one or two small spots where rocks have chipped the paint a little. But not noticeable.

Damn was looking for a cheap way. Can't spend a few hundred at paint shop.

It will make them more rigid, but I have had zero issues with any sort of cracking at all.
