The XRC8 sells for $300 shipped and now time for a rant...Harbor Freight sells nothing but Chinese manufactured shit yes I do shop there, just got back in fact from swapping out an engine hoist that was broke right out of the box i only buy stuff from there I plan on using and trashing once, everything else is Snap-On or Craftsman but anyway the JEEP is an American made icon built 25 miles from my house so paying a little extra for an American Made Product like the Warn is the least we can do helping OUR economy...just like the addage goes BE AMERICAN AND BUY AMERICAN maybe it is the holiday or whatever but we should patronize American companies that build here I know we all have to buy some things made overseas because they are not made here and that is understandable but saying "I know it is built overseas but it is cheaper" is what got us where we are today and FYI I have the Warn PowerPlant Dual Force 9500 sitting on my bench waiting for the new bumper built in Kalamazoo Michigan to arrive...sorry for the patriotic rant...

You know that Craftman and Warn (all the VR series) have a bunch of products made in China, just like your XRC8...

The quality of stuff at Sears went South when Kmart bought them out.

I have noticed a decline in the quality of Craftsman tools as well. Good thing they still have a lifetime warranty. Its a shame that everything is turning to cheap Chinese junk...

I'm a buy American guy myself but so you know craftsman is no longer made in America. I try not to buy from a American company if its not made here.

Good luck with yours I know 5 different people who had theirs break multiple times some 4-5 times. They are junk in my book. I want recovery gear that works when I need it.

I agree, I usually try to buy tools from Williams, great quality and made in the U.S.
