What about wheel size I want to run either 35 12.50s or 37 12.50s. And every thing I have read says at least 4.5 in back spacing. Is last a common since or what.

The larger you go (e.g. 37" vs 35"), the more you'll stress the system. There's a whole range of stronger or strengthened parts.
Mileage will increase, steering will be somewhat less "nice".
For the same rim, say 17", and more rubber on the 37" (and 28~30psi for ride comfort), road behavior will suffer. Emergency maneuver 'envelope' will decrease.
Wider tread, too, contributes to reduction in steering feel.
If you're willing to invest some more: Full Traction CRC restored the steering behavior & feel on my '12, and made it even somewhat better than with the stock wheels and no lift. I wish something similar could be done with the front axle...
On '12 models, for 35", 4.1 gearing is the minimum, 4.56 even better.
For 37", the reasonable minimum is 4.56 .
(A step more for '11 models)
I suggest you first gain experience out there, see what's really holding you up -- ground clearance, wheel size, recovery gear -- and then start modifying.

I run a RC 3.5 series 2 lift on my 2012 BFG with auto trans and 3.21 gears. It provides plenty of lift for 35s and with flat fenders you can run 37s. I run 35 inch Nitto Trails on 18x9 XD Misfits 0 offset 5 inch backspacing. No rubbing issuses at all. I also upgraded my LCAs to adjustables to dial in the steering and flightyness it had after the lift. Drive great now and the RC is nice on the pocket book.
