Default Recommendations for good but affordable 2.5-3" budget lift!!!

I want to run 35" tires on my 2012 Unlimited and need suggestions for a good budget boost to ride around on for the next 6 months or so till I can afford a long arm system.

2012 Flame Red Sport Unlimited w/ auto trans.

I have the Teraflex 2.5 BB kit that came with shocks on my 08 UNL. I only have 33's but everyone says you can fit 35's with it.

I like it a lot. I think down the road I will probably switch to coils but right now it works fine.

Default well

It seems a lot of people around here are running the 2.5" TF BB.
Now the question is will it be worth it to spend the extra cash on the kit with shocks or go shock extensions. I will be doing a moderate amount of wheeling. Shock extensions just don't sound as secure as new shocks.

I also would consider new shocks, I wouldn't feel comfortable with extensions. I dont know if there is anything wrong with them, just a personal comfort level thing.

Love the Flame Red... I have the same.

I feel the same way. I'm sure the extensions are solid, but...

I have wheeled mine hard with Rubi shocks and the Tera extensions for a couple of years now and have experienced no problems. If I was going to change lifts in 6 months I would go with the Tera bb without shocks.
