Default Rear Track bar welds undone?

Anyone have this happen to you? Kept going to the dealer for a loud noise in the rear, they never found anything. Well this weekend the rear drivers side track bar fell. All the factory welds let go, had to strap it up for a 2 hour ride home. Waiting to see what the dealer has decided. They are not sure if they will cover this. As we had a lift done by them they should cover it . It really messed up the spring.

Pictures? Were you using a t-bar relocation bracket? If so was it on the frame or axle?

Which lift did they put on? Skyjacker was big for this problem, they came out with a bracket to strengthen the existing one.

Yes, call Skyjacker. You will have to get someone to weld your bracket back on. Custom muffler shops are a good place to go. Have them beef up the bracket at the same time. If Skyjacker is charging you for the strengthening bracket, I would probably just say forget it and get an adj trackbar from david at Northridge 4x4 ($189??) and then just chuck the whole relocation bracket that caused the problem in the first place.

If the dealer did the work, and you bought it fromthem, shouldn't they cover THEIR work???
