An the stock rear tire carrier hold a 35" tire ????

yes, but it is not recommended as a long term solution.

It can...however it shouldn't be a long term solution. There are plenty of posts about this. Some guys have had no issues but for the majority, best case is a cracked tire carrier, worst case is jacking your tailgate up.

That said, I ran with mine since February without a problem. But now have a tire carrier.

I've run mine for 2 yrs now with offroading and zero problems..... That said I will one day get a tire carrier. Mind you I never use the tailgate I access everything from the back doors 99% of the time.

I am still on stock carrier. Mine rattles and is dented from crinkling under weight.

Best pic I have. You can see the dent near the AU sticker. Btw I think this is even an upgraded carried but was on jeep when I got it

I found so many posts about damaged gates that I waited for the carrier before upgrading tires. A tailgate replacement isn't worth the trouble. As a short term fix throw the 35 in the back and loose the seat.

The stock tire carrier while hold a 35 but im pretty sure you need an adapter,I did. Now i just use this.

no adapter needed. I'm running a 315/75r16 on the stock carrier no problem right now. Tire Carrier is on the list after re-gear.
