I just used self tapping bolts. Cheaper than buying a tap.

RK does self-tapping bolts with their relocation kit. If you download their instructions then maybe you can find their specs.

Why are you moving it? I'm not critiquing, I'm asking because I don't know what conditions need to exist to have to move the rear and am curious.

3/8 x 16 iirc 5/16 drill.

If you need some 3/8 bolts or 3/8 self tappers i have some.

I have 4" of lift and bent lower rear control arm. Was going to move axle back with Rugged Ridge lca's for a 4" lift. So, wanted to move sway bar back. Not to expensive mod. Now, looks like moving my axle back will off center my track bar to much. I also have Coast ds and angled pinion up with lca's. Still plan to move sway bar back and cut and center spring perches, remove wedge and hope to lose 1/2" of lift. You really do not have to worry unless moved rear axle back or rotated up for after market ds.

It's not hard to relo your frame side TB mount (as you already know). With your axle moved back the frame side TB bolt will prob hit/rub your bump stop on the axle, so moving the frame side TB mount (and sway bar mounts) is a good idea. Just flex it to make sure there's not contact with the shock bodies before you finish weld it in. I'm going to use ARTEC's out side the frame mount. Just have to change the angle a little. Synergy makes a block that lowers the sway bar mount to assist with missing the shock bodies.
