It is definitely less safe at high speeds. I haven't had issues. Before I removed it, I did lots of research on this forum weighing pros and cons.

I personally would never remove the rear swaybar for what very minimal difference if any it would make. One option though, I use Full Tractions HD rear sway bar, and JKS adj end links. Swaybar has 3 mounting positions for stiff on-road, to more flex off-road. I'm surprised more people don't use these

Very few of the 30-40 vehicles I've owned even came with a rear sway bar. The exceptions have been sports or performance cars. I've added a few but never removed one.

If Jeep put one on the back of the JK they must have had a reason. Maybe it helps ESC and Traction Control work better? Its a much lighter bar than the stock front bar, and lighter than the aftermarket bars I've added to other vehicles.

Does anyone even make a rear disco? Might be worth a try if a person wanted longer links to level the bar on a lifted rig.

Quick cornering, or an evasive maneuver like to avoid a deer is where a anti-sway bar it's really noticeable for a comparison test -- and I'm sure you already know the safety issues...

I don't run a rear sway bar this is on a 2.5" lift and super long shocks.

Another user of this swaybar. Made a huge difference onroad, but didn't affect flex off-road. The little lady drives it daily and commented how much better it handled after. This bar and the stocker didnt limit flex with my 12" shocks or current c/o setup. IMO the puny stockbar is ok for unmodded rigs. Add lift, heavy armor and spare, its not up to the job. I didnt like the handling with the stocker on my JKU on 37s w/3.5 lift. I cant see why anyone would want to remove it.

Yeah I am really happy with it too. I just put the links to the inside third hole for play time, that setting feels a little softer for flex than OE. Yes the on road improvement is huge, no more understeer and a lot less side to side lean.
