Default Rear Sway bar

Who here runs a rear sway bar? Lot of the guys with TJs run without all the time (including my dad). I have been thinking about taking it out of my 2007 JKUR but i dont really think i need to.

i run no sway bars on mine and its a dd with 4.25" lift. Everyone will give you tons of reasons not to and even go into accident/insurance reasons...that being said, yes it DOES limit you and i say take it out. if i go on a long road trip or something i bolt the rear back in other than that no way... Running without the front is slightly noticeable, but running none is definitely noticeable. Running no sway bars on a stock control arm/track bar can hurt you in some offroad scenarios though and off camber is less stable also. Mine was limiting me quite a bit so i said screw it, and havent had any problem or rollovers in the last few years....yet.

I always disconnect the front but lately like you said it seems like its been hurting me in the rear. Its not like they are hard to take in and out. I will just have to try it 1 day without.

thats a good call, everyone has different opinions. I know for a fact on mine it was limiting up/down travel substantially in the rear and therefore also not letting my front tires go as high before the rear tires would come off the ground.

I run with front only on the highway. None offroad. Everything's setup properly as far as shock length, coil retainers, limit straps, and so on. I think it drives great for what I use it for and I've compared how it drives and handles both ways. All around this is the way I like it.
