Exactly. You -could- also make some if you have the tools at your disposal. I'm running basically no lift now, but getting everything together for 38.5's. I guess I havent really looked but it seems that cutting your old ones off and moving them with some DIY bracketry would be the best/cheapest route.

Default Rear spring alignment.

I have a 2008 with a 4.5 R/E long arm lift. I got a set of weld on lower spring mounts from J.B. Conversions. They have a lower plate that captures the spring once it is installed. Now my springs are straight. Don't remember the cost though.

I've had the same issue ever since I got my EVO long arm lift. It bugs me to no end. I've thought about trying the correction wedges but I don't think it's gonna be enough correction. When I have time, I think I'm gonna have new lower perches welded on. Seems easier than dealing with moving the top perch. Teraflex makes lower perches for around $90 a pair. The JB ones are prettier but twice the money.

no offence but i think most of you are missing the point of his post. i have the same issue and although it does not bother me much i would like to fix it eventually. if you have long arms or aftermarket short arms and have moved your axle back by lengthing the arms out 1 in or moreyou will never line up your axle spring perch and the upper spring perch. this is no matter what wedges, jks perches, or re weld on new perchs you put on. you will need to move the upper coil perch back as far as the axle was moved back, or get or make a bracket like the one posted for the tj.

i personally think the best bet is to just ditch the coils and shocks and go for the weld on alpha one coilover set up. but i know alot of people who would not drill out massive holes in ther back storage area. so in that case get the bolt on one and be done with it. hint hint dirtman.

Thanks, I'm glad someone caught on. All the suggestions are great and my buddy and I pondering them all however, even with correction wedges, if the spring is not straight you'll eventually lose the spring rate and the Jeep will start to sag (as is my case). It's just a matter of time since the weight isnt distributed evenly.

I'm just surprised no one has made a fix or a part for moving the upper mount or made a correction wedge for the upper mount with all the long arm kits on the market

Just get the JKS Adj.Perches and be done with it. I have tried wedges and they didn't do ish. I need to get the JKS ones as my trackbar rubs on my coils on dips while driving.

Adjusting your control arms will do NOTHING to fix this issue. Most people in this thread don't get it.

Moving the upper spring perches is a lot of work. Can be done as said in earlier posts. I'm running 40's on 4" of lift in rear. I moved my axle back an inch and trimmed the pinch seam. I have full travel and the tires don't contact the tub anymore.

What size tire u running and why did u need to move rearward 2.

I've yet to see anyone do that, easily. Good luck if that's what the OP wants. Exhaust and trackbar issues abound.
