Default rear DVD besides Bestop?

I know there is an excellent write-up on a dvd installation in the front, but do any of you guys know of a company, besides bestop, that is offering an "out the box" dvd screen. Bestop's is over $1,000, and it has the player included. I'm looking to take advantage of the video out on either the 6-disc or MyGig sytem (once it's available for dealer installation).

Thanks Guys,

I think my boyz will thank you too

I haven't heard of any - but at $1000, you're really better off DIY. You can get a 7" screen for ~100, and according to the write-up, it doesn't look like anything that can't be accomplished in an afternoon.

Thanks for your response, my only concern is mounting it on the soundbar. I've never done any interior mods on vehicles before, and was concerned about how the plastic soundbar may hold up.

I was thinking of installing flat panels in the rear of the headrests for the kids.... anyone see this done and where could I place the DVD?

Place the DVD in your DVD player! That is if you got the 6disc DVD changer. Other mounting positions for an external player could be under the front seat or in the back (hard to get to back there, though), or on the units themselves. You could also get an aftermarket head unit if you did not get the 6 disc option, or you could change out your radio for one. There have been a few for sale on this forum.
