Rear Driveshaft CV Problem
I just blew up my rear driveshaft CV. It started out as a small vibration and ended up with grinding and oil thrown out around the CV joint. The Jeep has 5400 miles and a 3" lift. I guess it is time for a Reel driveline.

I am surprised this is not happening to more jeeps with a 3" lift. The front CV on the rear axle is at max angle particularly with the Teraflex lift which is more like 4".
I order a new driveshaft from David at Northridge. Hopefully it will be here right after Christmas.

J.E. Reel Driveshafts
I have a 2DR Rubicon JK and ive had the 1350 Heavy Duty JE Reel Front and Rear driveshafts on my Jeep for 21,000 miles (11 months) with no problems. Considering I drive like a mad man and im running 37's... I'd say thats great. They are alitlle pricey but i think they were worth every cent.

Do you have the adjustable control arms? I have the same lift but with upper and lower adjustable arms and the pinion angle set at 1 degree. I was wondering if I will be having this issue soon.

Since Reel is a site sponsor, give them a call directly.
I just checked on a front driveshaft (just in case) and they're cheaper to buy directly from.
