Based on what the OP is saying, I would look for something that measures out around a 35" tire. Check some 35s, maybe a 315/70R17.

See I have a 6 speed w the mountain edition gears, I'm trying to figure out the weight diff between a 35 inch nitto trail grappler and the 33 inch open country hoping since the toyo is such a heavy tire the weight increase won't be too too bad, I read a gear change in a standard doesn't effect mileage much so it may not be worth it, insight?

I was not sure about the KM2, some sites say 71 to 73 lbs
Toyos and Mud grappler are the heaviest, since they are 13.5 wide

i found somewhere saying that the 35" Trail Grappler was 79 lbs and the Toyo open country 33.5" was 86 lbs...i would think at a 7 lb difference per tire, I shouldn't see much of any of a diff in mileage changing to the 35?
