Re-gearing ideas?
Currently running 35's on my Jeep and planning on going 37's in the near future. Im considering re-gearing now, since even with the 35's shes kind of sluggish. Just trying to get input on what would be ideal for 35-37's. The jeep is 70/30 between on and off road. Oh, and its an 07 Sahara.

Start with the FAQ's at the top of this modified area. There are some suggestions, and a good rpm chart to plug numbers into. (use actual measured tire height).
Which transmission?
6spd and 35's, 4.88 is popular, some like 4.56 or 5.13
auto and 35's, 5.13 is popular, some like 4.88, or if you swap to a front d44 5.38 is good.
For 37's, bump them up a ratio.
And be sure to sift through the replies you get, since some will be from guys with the other transmission, or a '12 or newer JK that has a different engine/transmission.

I have an 08 JK with 35"s and I just referred to 5.13's and I love it no more overdrive dance on the freeway and it's got 10x the takeoff power that it did I'm still in my break in period so I can't really get on it hard but from just driving around I absolutely love it
