Hi folks , is 2,000 for re-gearing from 4.10 -5.13 a good price for this job in my neck of the woods. ny-nj area.

i know alote of places where offering 1,200 for parts and labor.. but im not sure about your area. maybe you could get it done for around 1,500 ?

There's Westbury Goodyear Tire and Auto in Westbury, NY (Long Island). Last time I checked, he was installing gears for $800 front and rear labor only. I'm pretty sure he can get the gearsets and install kits for less than $1,200, for sure. If you go there, talk to Evan, tell him Dimitri from Long Island Off Road sent you. ASE cetified for years, been wheeling for years and does everything. Gearsets, welding, etc.etc.etc.

sorry for the question but what costs all that money the gears or the instalation because i was looking in quadratec and thans not so expensive
