I'm running 33's currently (because I also pull a travel trailer) but plan on going to 35's next time. 5.13 was what I figured I'd want with the larger tires, but never considered it for 33's. I'm interested on hearing more from those that have gone this route.

As a matter of fact I have. To say the 5.13 looks like it has no business being in the drive train of a Jeep would be an understatement. I'm not here to argue...just making a suggestion. Many people like to set up their rigs so the "fuse" in the drive train is not the R&P or anything in the diff area which is harder to repair on trail and typically more expensive and labor intensive. Personally I would much rather replace an axle or U-joint rather than my R&P.

IMO, if you're going to re-gear. Do it once and do it right. 5.13s all the way! btw, i would have gone 5.38s if I had a D44 in the front

I run 4:88's in my 08 Sahara in eastern Ohio on 35's and have no regrets at all. I tach at 2350 and still get 17-19 on the hwy at 72mph. When I pull my atv trailer, which is 8x12 with a wooden deck, running 65, I have now issues until I get to a really steep grade; the trans drops one position and just keeps on truckin. I play in the mud mainly and 4:88's work great for this.
You should cosider what you really want to do with your Jeep and re-gear accordingly imo. Rock climbing and such>, go 5:13 or less. More mud, and HWY use, 4:88 or slightly bigger, again, my opinion.
Good luck with your choice!!
