Default re-gear question..

Getting ready to order gears and install kits, in the past with other vehicles changing from a 3 series to a 4 series gear required a change in the carrier?

Is that true for the JK's as well? Im not changing lockers or anything, just wanting to go from 3.73's to 4.88's for the tire change..

If you have 3:73 your good. Carrier is useable.

Do you need anew carrier with 3.21 to 4.10? I am just starting to look into this.

Default Locker time

Another thing to think about...if you want a locker or limited slip, may as well do that at the same time if you're going to have to go with a new carrier anyway. You'll save $$ in the long run if you think you'll need or want some type of traction aid.

Default front only

front carrier only when moving from 3.21s....you'll be good in the rear.
