RE 4.5 issues
I just installed the RE 4.5 on my 2 door.
Followed the instructions exactly.
My wheelbase is now way too long.
The rear springs are almost shaped like "C's".
Sway bar links and track bar bolt touching bump stops.
The instructions said 2 or 4 door but the measurements for the control arms were way off.
Are the kits for the 2 and 4 door the same?
Does anybody have the instructions laying around?
Mine say
Front lower 36 3/" Front upper 15 1/8"
Rear lower 41 3/4" Rear upper 17"
Any help appreciated.

I experienced the same problem. Had to adjust the control arms a bit, mostly the rear which I had to move forward about 1" and the uppers needed adjustment as well, to get the proper geometry for the cv-shaft... Not too pleased with the instructions measurements either.

Will get some pics later. its at work now.
I adjusted the rear arms almost the whole way in today.
Its better but I still need to make a few adjustments.
The instructions were horrible.
The cross member would not fit. Had to modify.
The brackets for the rear uppers were too small to fit over the chassis.
Also had to modify.
I am pleased with the ride but I wouldn't recommend this lift.

Sorry to hear that you're having so many issues with it, not to down-play it but this is the first time I've heard about these problems. If you were local I'd give ya a hand, I hope it all works out for you in the end.

Hey AZ
What did you set your pinion angle at? 1 degree less than the driveshaft or
1 degree more?
Did you move the spring mounts on the axle so the springs sit right?

In what way didn't it fit? Seems a bit risky to tamper with the crossmember if not necessary...

The square ends on the x member were too big to let it fit up into the stock mount. The stock mount is curved and the x member pushed against the curved part before it was in far enough to put the blots in. Drivers side only.
Had to put a 45 deg angle on the sharp edges of the x member.
