I have those(RCV AXLE SHAFTS) in my PR44 up front with Dynatrac ball joints , Reid knuckles , ARB air locker. I'm currently on 35" tires about to pull the trigger on 37" Goodyear MTR's w Kevlar. Should I be thinking twice now? I was told my front end build could easily handle 37's or do I have to worry about my RCV axle shafts busting? Thx
no.. wheel the hell out of it.. with that setup i would already be at 37's

Thx
I've been running this same setup for two years, first year in 35s and last year on 37" MTRs and it's held up to tons of abuse. Th divers side shaft started clicking a few months ago, ordered a rebuild kit but haven't done it yet. Sounds like I might need a rebuild on the passenger side too. Haven't adjusted steering stops, just running the Reids the way they were delivered.

I've had mine for about 18 months running 35's never adjusted the steering stops. No issues and I've wheeled the hell out of mine.

I have about 70k on mine. Did not adjust stops - just left at stock settings. When wheeling here in the pnw - it seems I'm always fully turned one way or another. No issues.

That's good to hear. RCV got back to me and they said no steering adjustments are needed as long as the factory steering setup is used.

sent from here to there

MUCH more important than tire size and equipment is driving style and conditions. The amount of abuse / how you drive it and where far out weighs the importance of what gear you're running. I guarantee you I/you could break an RCV axle or anything else on 32s if you abused it enough.
