Default Rc 3.5

I ordered the RC 3.5 series 2 lift and had plans on doing It myself but now time is at a crunch and may have a local shop do it for me. They are telling me I need cam bolts for it to align properly. RC says I don't need them cause the lift comes with new lower control arms. If I use cam bolts too is it useless to have them or will it hurt to have them. Even if I did it myself at this point I will be doubting myself. Can someone point me in the right direction

if you have adjustable lca's you won't need cam bolts. I think the shop may be confused

I sent them the link to the kit on RCs website. They are not adjustable but they are replacements. Im assuming they accounted for that when making there LCAs. It even says no need for cam bolts. I'm just alittle lost.

You dont need to adjust the lower control arms/cam bolts. the kit comes with new lower control arms (fixed)
I have the same kit and my caster is within stock spec using the control arms that came with kit

Also just a suggestion. You will probally better off not using the Trackbar relocation bracket and drop pitman arm and just using an adjustable trackbar instead
The drop pitman arm can cause addition stress on the sector shaft/steering pump and is used to bring the cost of the kit down

I've already got the kit. So your saying just order the adj track bar and do away with the front bracket and old track bar.

Exactly. when installing the kit, just replace the stock trackbar with the adjustable one and dont use the drop pitman arm or trackbar bracket that came with the kit

Croce is absolutlely right. I have the same lift and it drives so much better after O took off the relocation stuff and just bought a new adjustable track bar. The stock bar will bend even with mild wheeling and cause more serious problems. It was twitchy with the parts from the stock kit. The track bar took care of this.

I am looking into this kit. What is the general consensus of this kit from people that are running it? I've heard that RC tend to be a rough ride... True?

Can anyone provide pictures of their Jeep with this exact kit... Stock tires or 35's.
