Default which rattle can paint to use?

I have made some rock sliders for my jeep and I am trying to find out what paint to use. I am on a strict budget so I have to use rattle cans. My problem with spray paint is it seems to scratch easily. Does anybody have any suggestions of what brand or type of spray paint I should use.

Sand it down real well and apply a coat of rattle can self-etching primer. Then scotch brite it and use Krylon "WRINKLE FINISH" for a nice durable finish.

let me finish making the last one and get them painted I will take pics before and after mounting. I have one painted but I do not like the paint so I will take pics of the second one before I paint it.

Post Paint

I like Rust-oleum "Hammered". It hides surface imperfections, is very durable and does not require a primer. Do not forget to use a degreaser (like acetone) on the product before painting.

Any of the Krylon paints depending on the surface you are painting. If it's a plastic then use the Krylon Fusion Paint. Its amazing.

x2. I used the Rustoleum Hammer Black on my sliders. It's got a nice look to it, and if you have to make spot repairs it blends well too.

I like the Rustoleum Hammered too. Ignore the water spots. It started raining on me when I snapped the pics. Seems to be pretty durable after it fully cures, which usually takes a few days.
