Do you take the muffler out to do this? And what prep work should be done first? Thanks!

Ya, I left mine on. I did not jack it up at all. I put moving blankets around the jeep to protect it from over spray. I scuffed it up a bit with a ruff pad and knocked off some grime and surface rust. Hit it with a few coats of high heat paint like 500-600 degree paint, From auto zone ($8)

Looks better thank stock and kinda disappears under the jeep. Cheap mod!
