Does anyone know if there would be a way to modify this carrier so there's not such a gap between it and the tailgate?? Perhaps move it more towards the gate?

I've also been thinking about trying to figure something out for this. I may end up modding something so that the carrier can be mounted on top and closer to the gate, but just haven't had the time. Hopefully someone will chime in with something they've done.

Looks nice, but I think I prefer how much more aggressive the rear looks without them…

BTW I don’t mind at all the gap between the gate and carrier, just have not yet decided what I am going to conveniently carry / install there!
