Installed one last weekend……………….

1) The instructions are lacking.

2) The locking pin has to be forced.

3) Not thrilled about the location of the lift when mounted, can’t open the gate to 90 degrees.

That’s it! Only three complaints! I love this bumper/carrier. It is rock solid and looks great. Mounting was easy with minimal drilling and dremel work.

I plan on replacing the locking pin with an eyebolt and welding the nut underneath. Have not decided where the lift is moving to yet. I will also try making endcaps from the old bumper as some others have done………………

Pics upon completion

This bumper looks to me like going bumper less with a crossbar for the tire carrier. I like this option a lot .

I was looking at this last night. I was really excited until I saw the price had doubled. You've got a lot more competition at $1,000. I was looking to upgrade my rear end to carry my 37" spare. My current carrier wouldn't clear my stock bumper. It looks like I'll keep my carrier and get some Evo d rings until I can save up.

Unfortunately all the upgrades do have a cost to them. Keep looking I have seen this carrier for around $800ISH. At that price point it competes VERY well with those $1000 bumpers, with a few things they don't offer. I hang a beadlocked 37 off this with no rattles and I have been on about 13 or so trail since buying my JK in March.

CA has some BRUTAL laws.....

The crew over at Teraflex actually make some snazzy ones. (UT has some tough laws too)
