Rancho rear bumper and carrier
I just bought a 2010 Rubicon and it has a Rancho rear bumper with carrier. The carrier has a 37" km2 on it. In order to close it I have to pick up on it and even then it is difficult to shut. Then the pin does not fit real well.
Anyone else have this problem? Is there a fix?

I'd be surprised if the poly bushings are worn out, since it's on a 2010 Jeep. If they are, it'll suck to change them, I'm guessing, because it sure was a pain to install mine. YMMV, of course.
On the other hand, since you just bought the Jeep and don't know its history, something could actually be bent. I'm afraid it's up to you to figure it out.

When I installed my Rancho tire carrier I both problems. Had to pick up on it to shut it and the pin wouldn't line up. I drilled out both pin holes in order to line them up and retorqued the hinge side with the tire mounted on the carrier and pinned. I also changed the supplied pin out for a hitch pin from tractor supply ( I carry the original as a spare).

I have this problem with mine as well and give it some time if your area uses road salt bc it's going to rust to he'll and the textured finish will flake off
