Mine rattles as well and I have the original hitch pin. For now, I found a rubber bushing that's a little thicker than the depth of the opening between the swingarm and the and the base, then I just have to push on the tire as i'm shutting it and putting the pin in...it holds it tight enough to eliminate 98% of the rattles. Eventually, I'm going to at least add a new latch similar to what is on other manufacturer's bumpers...might even attempt to move the swingarm up on top to bring the spare closer to the body...will likely move the tire mount down a bit to improve my rear view.

Want to push my rear axle back more and no extra clearance. The exp one bumper extends into rear wheel well

I have the optional 1 inch longer lower rear control arms for a short arm and they are at the shortest setting. I have less than 1 inch clearance when I'm flexed. The Exp one rear reaches into rear wheel well to much. I like to get a rear bumper that doesn't go into wheel well
This pic is not flexed and looks fine
you can't see it but it is close on rear
38's or my 39.5's will be to close on my pinch seams so I want to push it back 1 inch

I have this bumper. I would suggest rear corner armor with it. I crushed the rear corner panel cause it is a stubby bumper. Over all I like it though.

If I slide the Expedition one more rearward on brackets than it doesn't shut properly and binds. The bumper has to be tight against frame closest to body!!

looking for more reviews on this, in need a of a rear bumper and like how simple this one is. I am debating between this and the or fab setup. I am a little worried about the lack of rear corner protection, but I don't see that being a huge problem unless your taking some crazy lines with big drops. Also, those with the bumper..does it get in the way of the rear license plate?

I don't have either but personally I like the Rancho over the or-fab. Not just for looks but looks heavier duty imo
