^^ That should be easy enough. They are expensive, but you could run some little 2x2 led's or even a single 10" bar and it would look sweet.

We did that exact thing to my buddies jeep. I buy little led's that size for work and get them from companies that sell semi parts. Bought a set 3 weeks ago for my work truck and paid 100 for both with mounting hardware. They are really bright and visibility is around 40-50'

Those are both great ideas. I am beginning to think that a 6" round light might be a bit big for the carrier.

We ran 2 lights on a swivel in case you need see close up on the outside of your tires. One 6" should put out enough light to serve the same purpose

for those of you who have these - is the pin that holds it closed simply the same type of pin you'd use for a trailer hitch? I bought one of these bumpers used and just have a bolt that dropps down from the top.
Mine rattles over bumps, where the arm bounches up and down in the spot with the bolt. it's noisy. Any ideas as to what to do to make it be quieter?

Yeah, it's just a hitch pin. Almost sounds like your bushings need replaced, though. Mine is pretty danged snug when it's in the closed position.
