Default Rancho Control Arm Geometry Correction Brackets

I've struggled with the slight flightiness of the Jeep since I put the lift on immediately after purchasing it. I assumed it was from the wider tires grabbing into the road grooves, and just held on tight on the freeway.
After putting 35"x12.5" tires on, it got worse. I started researching possible cures as the alignment was fine although the caster was a bit too vertical.
Ended up buying these:
Rancho RS6250B - RANCHO® Control Arm Bracket for 07-16 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK with 3-4" Lift - Quadratec
How on earth did I live with this for two years. HOLY WOW!! it steers and drives like stock! hands off at slow and freeway speeds. Talk about a snake oil that works!
Yes, I lose some clearance just behind the tire, but a long-arm hangs even lower through there, and an adjustable control arm is twice the cost.
The great handling benefits for me, at least, outweigh the risk of damage to the drop bracket.

i bought the same ones to install when i put my lift on this spring. i want as close to stock driveability as i could get so drop brackets seemed like the better choice for me. ranchos looked like a stronger design VS the AEV so i went with the ranchos.

I have them as well and yes they do make a big difference. Some will say they aren't worth it due to decreased ground clearance. But it's only a couple inches. And they can take abuse. I've drug them in the rocks, no problems.

You will get the same effect using proper length control arms too. But yes, you corrected the caster that was thrown out of wack by the lift.

I'm running them and like them a lot. Until I change out the control arms, something that is under consideration, they are a great and very inexpensive cure for caster angle issues.

yep. I went with the teraflex control arms because I am a big fan of teraflex products/and company in general. Plus, at 185,000 on the clock, some new bushings are a nice addition as well.

I agree, with the AEV, I didn't like all those pieces, although a little cheaper. I have not heard of any complaints on running these at all, though.
