That was just one of several stories I have personally witnessed in reference to the poor quality of product your company produces and sells over the last 30 years. I'm glad you have happy customers, Ill just never be one.

I know I am highly disappointed in my Rancho7000MT shocks. I know I will be told to contact tech support but they are not leaking nor do they have any signs of damage which would warranty replacement so I doubt tech support will do much. They just flat are worse then stock Rubicon shocks. I am sure I am in the minority.

You are right I would tell you to call Tech, but you haven't. I will still tell you to call Tech. They may be of help to you. 734-384-7804.
I will also say I wheeled two weeks ago with 3 different JK's with 3 different suspensions (EVO, ours and Teraflex) and no one had the issue that you did, and we were all going fast... on 37"+ tires.

Keep me posted.
I may have you pull the P/N ( the whole series of numbers stamped near the bottom of the shock) on it and talk to an engineer myself.
It boggles my mind and I already mentioned it to him a few weeks ago.

Not so much chief. I've used all kinds of lifts and shocks. Note, i'm a redneck from SC. We pop out of momma with a can of skoal, bud light in hand, and our first word is mud tire. OK, so i'm being funny, but i've had all kinds of products under 4x4's. Honestly, never really had a horrible experience with anything i've tried. Maybe i've been lucky. Nothing from any manufacturer has shown up to my door broken or un-servicable. Nothing failed to work as designed. Shocks, i've used a bunch. Monroe, Blisten, Fox (older version), and even had a set of Skyjacker Hydros on my last Silverado. I don't know who makes the best shock, but so far these are great. 
My buddy and I just stuck a set of the Blisten 5100's on his JKU, in combo with the AEV 2.5" lift. They ride about like my ranchos's set at 5/5. They did great off road our last outing at Uwharrie. I just prefer the adjustability of mine.
But, what shocks do you recommend?

......And the reason is....a lack of experience with a better product. Rancho was the best game going in the 80's. I just think they have failed to keep up with modern advancements and as a result, there are better products out there. Although,, I'm glad you have a better experience with them.
