Default Rancho 9000 on Rubicon 2011 confort!

Hi to everyone,
I'm Francesco from Rome, can someone that has mounted the Rancho 9000 on a jk tell me if and how the confort rise? I must solve this problem because my rubicon is undriveable for the stiffness expecially on highway and a friend has told me about theese rancho!
Thx!

the benefit of a rancho 9000 is that it's adjustable and so you can set it accordingly. and, for the price, it's not a bad shock at all. if you're looking for something that you don't have to adjust all the time, i might recommend something a set of old man emu shocks instead.

I would imagine that you would have access to Bilstein shocks out there. If not I'd order them out of Germany. The Bilstein shocks are a much better solution than the Rancho's in my opinion. I think you would get the ride you're looking for.

I have been using the 9000 for 2 years no problems the ride is great. On my 2 door I run them on number 5 when I add passengers and camping stuff turn them to number 7 when I remove the roof back seat etc I run them on number 3 great shock for the price

Yes there is a major difference you put them on 3 it rides very soft "same feeling as if you was to drop your tyre pressure by 10 pounds, when you go to 7,8,9 they become stiff i have never ran mine past 7. On all settings i do not get any "dive or roll"

Hard to say as i run 35" MTRs and found the stock BFG mud terrains quite soft as a tyre but i would guess about a 5 so you could go a lot softer if running stock tyres

i run 34psi and number 5 other run tyres around 29 28 psi to get a supple feel
